Being at the forefront of technology is one of BN’s core values. That’s why when the words “event tech” started trending, BN was one of the first organisations to pick it up. From as early as 2015, BN has been using Micepad’s Web platform for many of their events. Since then, our relationship has only grown.

Earlier this year, BN Senior Community Planning Manager, Isaac Young engaged Micepad for the prestigious 2019 AAMA台北搖籃計劃暨Meet創業小聚年會 (AAMA Taipei Cradle Project). With 500+ attendees, this yearly event invites internationally successful entrepreneurs, venture capital representatives, and other field experts to share advice and experience.

This was a particularly exciting event, as Micepad has just updated itself to the brand new v.8 model, with new features, tracking and data analytics. Upgrades had been done to the interactive features as well, in particular the polling, Q&A and word cloud functions.

“Micepad has outdone itself yet again. We had asked for more data reporting and a better word cloud projector and they really did make it happen.”

The Result

On the big day, check-in times were much speedier, with minimal queuing at the entrance. This was a huge improvement compared to when they were searching for names in an Excel spreadsheet, staff commented.

“Registration is now much faster than before. There used to be long queues but now there are only 3 or 4 people queuing each time.”
~Kenneth Tan, Senior Manager (Emergency Resources), EPD

A total of 25 questions and polls were run that day, garnering a whopping 1048 replies – an overwhelming response compared to previous Q&As
